The Mission
Every researcher deserves
the setup it used to take years to build.
I spent the first years of my PhD fighting the tools instead of using them. Wrong LaTeX setup. Papers scattered everywhere. Figures rebuilt from scratch every revision. Hours gone — every week.
I fixed it. Then I built this site so you don't have to rediscover it all alone. Everything here is field-tested on real research, explained without jargon, and usable today — whether you're in year one of your PhD or a tenured professor.
You are capable of doing exceptional research. The systems around it should make that easier, not harder.
Obsidian, Zotero, LaTeX, Inkscape — the software toolkit of serious researchers
Using AI rigorously — with your integrity and attribution fully intact
Python, Git, reproducible pipelines — coding for researchers, not developers
How AI actually works, in plain language — so you know when to trust it
Better courses, assessments, and teaching materials — in less time
What researchers say
Real results from real researchers
"In two sessions, Youven helped me set up an Obsidian vault and citation workflow that genuinely changed how I research. I only wish I'd done this in year one of my PhD."
"The LaTeX in VSCode tutorial saved me weeks of setup pain. Everything finally works together — IntelliSense, preview, bibliography. It's the setup I should have had from day one."
"Worth every euro. I've been trying to set up a proper research system for 18 months. One session and it's done."
